Content Description: The second of two books journaling the life of Polish-born author.  These 31 chapters cover Mexico 1951 to Hemet, CA 1992.  At 10 a US ship brought him to San Diego, CA. The gov't wouldn't let him stay so he went to Mexico to a refugee camp.  He worked and struggled many years just to survive.  In 1951 he immigrated back to the US.  This time he was allowed to stay, but suffered rejection, degradation, and discrimination due to his Polish origin.  Written in the form of a novel.

Condition Description:  Very good.  No defects noted to text.  Binding is firm.  Some minor scuffs to front cover at top of spine and lower right corner.
