Content Description:   The Canadian poet, journalist, and novelist Robert Service is remembered chiefly for the popular ballads depicting the life of the gold prospector in the Klondike.  The present anthology, divided into four parts, includes poems from The Spell of the Yukon and Other Verses, 1907; poems from Ballads of Cheekako, 1909; poems from Rhymes of a Rolling Stone, 1912; and poems from Rhymes of a Red Cross Man, 1912.
